Musical style
- It doesn’t make any sence to describe this band’s musical charactaristcs because it’s too unique.
- At first, they use some different kind of musical instruments from other bands.Only bass player plays the electric bass guitar but the other members usually plays accoustic ones like mandolin or melodica.
- Ishikawa Koji, the drummer and percussionist of the band , usually beats empty bins or some trashes like that.
- The accoustic sound stands out in most of their songs than electric sounds, and yet the sound is deep and thick enough without any needlessness.
- They could be The Beatles of Japan.
- Someone sais it about their chorus arrangement or psycheledic taste.
- Compares to The Beatles, we can say that they took the music which was created by African-Americans to the west, TAMA took the western style of bands and created some kind of Japanese sound.
Influenced by/for
- The influence they gave to the other bands is inculculable, but no one tried to follow and immitate their style of music because it was already matured enough.
