Musical style
- The members of this band had been listening to western music such as American or British rock, and they started the band to create Japanese original rock or pop music.
- Japanese bands called “Group Sounds” in 1950’s and early 1960’s tended to play cover songs of the instrumental rock and surf rock groups (for example, The Ventures) with Japanese lyrics but this band almost began to compose original songs in Japanese lyrics.

- Generally speaking, we can find influences from Buffalo Springfield and Moby Grape.
- Matsumoto Takshi(drummer) said that this band wouldn’t exist without the song “Vacant World” by Jacks.
- Miyazawa Kenji’s poetries

- The bass player, Haruomi Hosono is also known as the foundation member of YMO(Yellow Magic Orchestra)
- “Kaze wo Atsumete” is played in the movie “Lost in Translation” directed by Sofia Coppola, daughter of Francis Ford Coppola.
